This data is collected through standard analytics tools and cookies (see the Cookies section below). It helps us understand how the site is used and improve it over time.
Information from Third Parties
In limited cases, we may receive information about you from third-party sources:
- LinkedIn: If you connect with us through LinkedIn or interact with our LinkedIn content, we may receive basic profile information consistent with your privacy settings on that platform.
- Business data providers: We may use commercially available business databases to verify or enrich contact information for outreach to potential clients. This is limited to professional context (company, title, industry).
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To respond to your inquiries. When you reach out, we use your contact details to follow up and, if appropriate, schedule a complimentary AR Aging Diagnosis call.
- To deliver services to clients. If you become a client, we use your business information to manage your accounts receivable on your behalf as described in our Engagement Agreement.

- To comply with legal obligations. We may use or retain information as required by applicable law, regulation, or legal process.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling that produces significant legal effects.
How We Share Your Information
We never sell your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. Full stop.
We share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers. We work with trusted vendors who help us operate — including CRM software, email platforms, scheduling tools, and website analytics. These providers access only the data they need to do their job and are contractually required to keep it confidential and secure.
- Legal compliance. If required by law, court order, subpoena, or government authority, we may disclose information. Where legally permitted, we will attempt to notify you first.
- Business transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or a prominent website notice before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
- With your consent. We may share your information for any other purpose with your explicit permission.
Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies — small text files stored on your device — to make the website function and to understand how it's being used. Specifically:
- Essential cookies are necessary for basic site functionality. These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics cookies help us understand page traffic and user behavior (e.g., Google Analytics). This data is aggregated and anonymized where possible.
- Marketing cookies may be used to understand how visitors arrive at our site (e.g., from LinkedIn ads). We do not use these to serve retargeted ads across the web.
Most browsers allow you to manage or block cookies in your settings. Disabling cookies may affect some website features.
Your Rights
Regardless of where you're located, you can always:
- Access your data — ask us what personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccuracies — request that we update information that's wrong or incomplete
- Delete your data — ask us to delete your personal information (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Opt out of marketing — unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the unsubscribe link, or email us directly
California Residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides you additional rights:
- Right to know — the categories of personal information we collect and the purposes for which it is used
- Right to delete — request deletion of personal information we've collected, subject to certain exceptions
- Right to opt out of sale — we do not sell personal information, so this right is already satisfied
- Right to non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any CCPA right
EU / EEA Residents (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and port your personal data. You also have the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Our lawful basis for processing is generally: (a) your consent, (b) our legitimate interests in operating our business and communicating with prospective clients, or (c) compliance with a legal obligation.
How to Exercise Your Rights
To make any privacy request, email us at info@blackoxcapital.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing your request.
Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information — including encrypted transmission (HTTPS), access controls, and secure data storage practices. Our service providers are held to similar standards.
That said, no system is completely impenetrable. We cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach affecting your rights were to occur, we would notify you as required by applicable law.
Data Retention
We retain your information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy:
- Inquiry and prospect data is generally kept for up to 3 years from your last interaction, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
- Client data is retained for the duration of the engagement and for a minimum of 7 years thereafter to satisfy legal, tax, and accounting requirements.
- Analytics data is retained in aggregated, anonymized form and may be kept indefinitely.
Children's Privacy
Our website is intended for business professionals and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly. Contact us at info@blackoxcapital.com if you believe this has occurred.
